Most light vehicles more than five years old need a yearly safety inspection before registration renewal in NSW. Your renewal notice will tell you if a check is required.
We inspect key safety items, including tyres, brakes, lights, steering and suspension, and explain any items that need attention. Once your vehicle passes, the inspection report is submitted electronically to Transport for NSW.
